Electrophoretic Paint: Also known as E-coat, this paint offers high corrosion resistance coupled with an excellent aesthetic appearance which is quickly becoming the coating of choice in the automotive industry. Unlike sprayed or dipped coatings, an electrophoretic coating is one of uniform thickness on even the most complex shapes, including the edges. E-coatings are free from sags, beads and runs. They are often applied where corrosion protection is required to satisfy warranty agreements. These coatings exhibit excellent salt spray and humidity resistance, high throwing power, good hardness and flexibility.
